Bought the Omnium after much research and review reading online...Backcountry had the best price (and awesome customer service!). Decided to go with an 8.5 since that is what I wear in street shoes although my hiking boots and running shoes are a full size larger. One of the attractions of this sandal was the ability to adjust the fitting in 3 different ways to secure a good fit, since I have narrow feet that usually look lost in these types of sandal/shoes. Have to say that I made an excellent choice! The shoes fit like a dream...no slipping or rubbing on the heel, and the toe box is wide enough that my toes can spread out! It has a little arch support, although I'd prefer a larger one such is on the many models of Chacos sandals. To be sure they would work for my upcoming kayaking, rafting, and hiking trip I wore them around the house for a day, then actually wore them to the gym for a treadmill incline and stair stepper workout (to mimic climbing up hills and rocks). After putting them through the paces, I wore them with confidence on my trip. They do everything they claim to do! My right shoe got drenched (as in hung over the side of the raft and often submerged) while rafting so it didn't dry out as quickly as the left that merely walked through water or got a quick rinse out. As you might imagine hiking in loose, deep sand is a bit of a problem but usually banging my heel on a rock was enough to sift some sand out, and when it built up too much in the toes I could quickly remove the shoe using the release buckle on top. They felt very secure on my feet and had awesome traction when climbing on wet sandstone. They even look sorta cool on my feet...in other words, they don't make my feet look huge. I brought along a pair of very lightweight nylon/spandex sock in a complimentary color to wear with the sandal in case they started rubbing my foot somewhere while hiking, but I never needed to use them. Definitely a good choice and I'd buy them again!
Rafting the Colorado
Teva got a workout rafting, kayaking, and hiking!

The shoes were okay. The style was great but the comfort level was not. The shoes rubbed against my ankle making it painful to walk long distances in. Make sure you test them out in your house before going out.
Great sandals, really good traction. Great for hikes where you're in and out of water. At first they gave me a blister on my heel, but after one use they were perfect. Fit true to size.
The best ever outdoor sandal
This Teva sandal is the BEST!! I have plantar fasciatis and the arch support helps enormously. Used for canoing, hiking and dog walking at the park. They clean up well and they do not smell at all. This brand is awesome and I highly recommend it to all who are interested.

Is there any problem with these smelling after a few uses? This description does not explicitly state that there is any kind of antimicrobial lining or anti-odor factor. Has anyone experienced issues? Thanks.
Teva Omnium Water Shoe-Women's
I just received my Teva Water Shoes and was so impressed. They are sturdy looking and fit well with the heel and arch adjustable straps. They are very comfortable on my feet and I look forward to our rafting trip in May to give them a work out.

What size and width does the Teva Omnium Water Shoe come in?
Are there half sizes? I wear either a women's size 12 or a men's 10 1/2. Is there any arch support in the sandals? I usually wear an insert in my sneakers.

happy new year too....
Wonderful shoes...so comfy
Bought these earlier in the summer and have been wearing them almost every day! The footbed is cushy, can walk in them all day and don't get any annoying rubbing or blistering.
I love this shoe!
I purchased these shoes for an upcoming trip to Europe. I needed a comfortable shoe that I could wear in the city and that might get wet in rainy weather. This shoe fit the bill. I wore them every day in Paris, Burgundy, Bruges, and Amsterdam. They did get wet and dried quickly. They are just so comfortable and light-weight! When I bought them, my size was not available so I had to get a 7.5. That turned out to be fine since I wore socks with them in the cool weather and they fit great!
These shoes are nice, they breathe really well and are great for water activities. My only complaint is the back piece rubbed my heel and caused slight blistering, it wasn't bad after the first day. The sizing is true to size I wear 8 1/2 street shoe and ordered a 9. Should have stuck with the 8.5 probably would have prevented the rubbing. All in All though I like them.
