After cramming your feet into climbing shoes or rigid hiking boots all day, slip into the Teva Men's Mountain Scuff Suede Shoe at camp for relaxing comfort around the campfire. The fleece-lined leather upper and the Ortholite insole baby your aching arches, and the lycra and neoprene collar ensures a snug yet unrestrictive fit. The suede leather outer can handle the trail but stays casual enough for summer parties.

Bottom Line: Give your feet a post-hike pampering.

I saw an ad for these and one of the claims was that they are waterproof. It's hard to believe because they are suede and no other ad claims they are waterproof either. Does anyone know if they really are? Even if they were water resistent that would be good enough.

The Teva Mountain Scuff utilizes Suede material which is really soft to the touch and incredibly breathable as far as leathers go but it also tends to absorb water more than harder leathers like full grain leathers. You hit the nail on the head when you said "water resistant", as these will be ok in day to day use even it wet weather or rain but not trudging through streams or mud. On the upside, you can always apply a leather waterproofing over and over again.

good looking shoes, they are comfy, and look good in jeans or casual dressing, the size its what is really odd as the 12 is too small and the 13 too big so i had to put insoles on them, this is the first time something like this happens to me so. Good to relax on

Comfy shoes

These are really nice shoes. I wear a size 9 and they fit true to size. They are just like wearing slippers but they can be worn out in public. I will probably buy another pair for a spare.
