Shoe made in heaven

When Teva designed the Karnali Wraptor, I can only conclude that they snuck into my room during sleep time and took a secret imprint of my foot. High arch, wide unfettered toes and all. That is how well this shoe fits.
Though I am quite frugal when it comes to clothing or shoe purchases, I now have three pairs of these shoes, in green, blue and some wierd gray red combo. I only found these sandals because I happened to wander in a work induced haze by a super sale rack at some... store. Now I only buy them online. And when backcountry had the color I wanted - but only in my size. Clearly it was a sign from on high... to get them!
My only worry is that my feet are now completely spoiled and that Teva might change the last (shoe base) at some point. Oh no!
Not so great for wide feet.

I unfortunately have wider feet, and flatter arches. These have a much narrower sole, which leaves the edges of it cutting into the bottom of my foot on the outer side of the heel, and also the inner side of the arch. Also, I too developed major blisters on the ball of my feet due to the vent holes. I have broken them in, but still can't hike more than a mile or so without them ripping into my feet. I do love how the strap is adjustable to secure your foot, and they are very stylish. A men's style might be a better option for wider feet, but that still won't solve the vent blister problem.
they look like the best shoes ever, and they are so bad

The sole design is really bad. I was so happy when i receive them, they look so good, and they feel good during the first 20 min of use.
After some walking, you notice that your skin is getting inside the opennings on the sole. The opennings are for air flow, but after a while you hate them, some of the opennings are too big and after a couple of hours your skin has the shape of the opennings, and you can feel them on every step.
Why they dont try the shoes before they sell them?

I bought these for turf-running for dog agility training/competition, which events are seldom canceled regardless of the weather ( always held outdoors in Australia) so good drainage can be important. I found them extremely comfortable
for long days of activity once I modified the velcro on the instep strap to accommodate my fairly high arches: they seem to have been designed for people with very low arches, yet offer superb arch support underfoot: in their newly-bought form, the two sections of velcro just met, not overlapping enough to provide secure grip... apart fromthat, instant favourites in a foot-fetish household ..
cool looking and super comfortable

Purchase this shoe to do some hiking where we would encounter water. Loved it!!! Provided the necessary support to climb on slippery rocks and loose dirt. Cleaned with a rinse of water. This shoe also dried quickly. The only con is that it is a heavy shoe.
Great Shoe

I ordered these shoes to take with me on a month long cross-country camping trip and they delivered! I wore them nearly every day in many weather conditions. They are ideal water shoes, have great grip on wet or dry rocks, and stay on securely. Using them as light hikers was also mostly successful. The soles are sturdy enough for most trails, but the mesh in the soles allowed shrubbery to poke through. The soles aren't as effective on loose dirt, but grip better than most hikers on rock. These shoes originally feel tight across the top when dry but prove to be very comfortable while hiking or wading. The adjustable straps are very handy and there is incredible arch support for any shoe, let alone a water shoe. I'm very pleased with this product, though it left me with very strange tan lines!

Extremely well made, but the sole causes blisters because of the holes which help with ventilation.
