Teva’s Women’s Dozer Sandal offers coverage, air, and drainage for watersports and warm-weather hikes. With sculpted footbeds for support and athletic performance, the Dozer’s sole incorporates a Shoc Pad heel cup that absorbs impact and adds spring to your steps. High-traction rubber grips dirt, rocks, and rafts with no problem, and Teva even built in environmentally friendly Microban Zinc anti-odor protection. A single drawcord adjusts the shoe’s tightness and fit, and the padded heel strap holds your foot comfortably in place.
Bottom Line: It’s lame to have to choose between sandals and shoes.
Let 'er rip.Good'day all, love these shoes had to return first ones cause wrong size and still had no drama's my mum bought some aswell when she saw mine, going to Asia with them, Will be coming back !!!
I've been looking for shoes to wear around the water that wouldn't fall off easily, but wouldn't leave me with wet feet all day. The first real test I gave these shoes was doing the Outdoor Adventure in Puerto Vallarta. You walk a lot, do zip lines, and rappel by a waterfall. These shoes gripped the rocks for rappelling, were comfortable for walking up the mountains, and didn't leave me with pruney feet after we did the zip lines down into a pool of water. I tried Chaco's, but I have pretty flat feet so the arch killed me. These are perfect. Now I wear them outside for yard work and around the house when I'm cleaning because my feet don't get hot. I'll be wearing them around the lake and when we go canoeing next week and I don't have to worry about my feet being comfortable. I recommend these to EVERYONE!!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these tech sandals !!!! I have really "bad" feet. I hike, bike, and kayak.... I always struggle to find appropriate shoes/boots/sandals that allow long term comfort. These sandals are the bomb!! I actually wear these instead of my tennis/walking shoes now for long walks around the lakes and local trails. My feet hold up 4 times better than any other shoes I own. I just wish Teva would make a comparable hiking shoe or boot. They are easy to put on and I personally like their look. I am here at the backcountry web site to buy another pair. Thanks Teva
My dozers are cool, comfortable, funky looking, and fit great. I wanted a light hiking shoe that was ventilated, and these fit the bill to a T. I get a lot of compliments because they don't sell Dozers here.
No blisters, no sore feet. I would recommend these to everyone. They fit true to size.
they are probably not viewed as stylish by most people, but these are technical sandals and those who wear this type of shoe have a different type of style! I have rather wide feet and find that these fit me well. They are adjustable across the instep. I've seen some reviews state that they rub their ankle - my suggestion is to make sure the inner shoe material is lying flat against your skin. Another reviewer said these are hard to get into - and I say really? They are not slides - but then again, I wouldn't hike in slides! Overall - they are very comfortable and versatile. Can't wait to wear them to Yellowstone!
I had foot surgery so they were the first closed in shoes I was able to wear upon my return to work. I found them to be fairly comfortable on the recuperating foot that still swells from time to time. I would definitely buy them again and in other colors. The velcro did pull apart from front of the end strap on the right shoe but didn't cause me a major problem getting it on and off, I can glue it back...
I bought these for my daughter, who is quite the tomboy, and hard on shoes and sandals. She loves them and wears them everywhere! We've gone on two long hikes with them, and she loves being able to step in puddles(or any body of water) without being yelled at for getting her shoes wet. They're great! What else can I say?
Hate hot shoes...You'll love these. Just the right coverage, fit, and very well made. Don't be afraid to buy these on line. A great big thanks & happy hiking!!!
I've had sandals and I've had water shoes before but this is an amazing combination - love 'em! I bought these specifically for a trip and only wore them once before it. They don't need any breaking in and fit like a charm. I wore them canoeing and then on a 3 day/night sea kayaking trip - the support is great, your toes still are comfy, and they're pretty light. Only downside was that the salt water gave me a bit of chaffing around my ankle but no problem with freshwater canoeing.
I LOVE my Dozers! They are quite possibly the best pair of shoes I've ever owned! I've not had a sore spot or blisters since day one and I use them nearly every day! I work in a hospital and they are just great - with the airconitioning they allow my fee to swell and still NO sore bits! The only thing that dampened by enthusiasm was the unfortunate cost of the shipping - it was greater than the cost of the shoes! I got sucked in with the "Free Shipping on Orders over $50" and by the time I realised I would be paying for shipping I couldn't back out - cos I (& rightly so) had already fallen in love with the shoes - however the shipping (to NZ) only took 5 odd days - not bad!
These are great sandals very comfortable. I got them for camping in Maine this summer. The big test will be in October when I take them on my trip to Kauai Hawaii :-)
I love this sandal, I bought them to wear to work, I am on my feet all day...8 hours....they are very comfortable, in fact they are the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn, my feet feel great by the end of the day. I also wear them to walk in after work. I have been wearing them for about 4 weeks now. I have also had a lot of compliments on them, as to how nice they look.
I did a lot of online researching for some hiking/water shoes. After reading a lot of reviews, I thought these were the best choice. They ended up being pretty disappointing. I know everyone else seems to really like them, but they were extremely uncomfortable. When I first wore them with socks, they were fine. But I didn't get them to wear with socks, especially being water shoes. I got them for a trip I was making to the Upper Peninsula of MI. I did some light hiking and some walking around the towns a bit. When I walked in sand, they got to be pretty unbearable. The sand gets trapped in the shoe, and rubbed against my skin. I chose to walk on the rocks barefoot rather than wear these. I hope they eventually break in......
I think that it's are very confortable shoe. they are a liiitle more on the green side them I thought . So that make it a little harder to find thing to wear with them.
I have a hard time finding any shoe that won't make my feet hurt and summertime is near impossible for me to find shoes. I found these online and read the reviews and thought that I would give them a try. I am glad that I did. They are comfortable and light. You don't even realize that you have them on. I wore them to my niece's outdoor grad party and not only were they comfortable, but I received many compliments on the shoe itself. I am looking forward to wearing on our family vacation to Hershey Park. I would definitely recommend this shoe!
I bought a pair of these for my husband over a year ago, and he raves about how wonderful they are every time he wears them! He says it took a couple times wearing them to "break them in" but after that they're wonderful! He's been wearing his current pair for over a year, so they wear VERY well. I've been looking to buy a second pair of these for him for over a year and finally found them today through Backcountry. I ordered a pair for him and a pair for myself and can't wait to get them!!! These are a very good value for your money.
There's a lot to love about this shoe -- very comfortable, works well wet and dry. However, my difficult feet ended up with a rub -- just one place on one foot but enough that I had to give them up. For those with more forgiving feet, highly recommended.
