Not true to size

  • Familiarity:I returned this product before using it
  • Fit:Runs large

I am disappointed that Teva is not making Churn model women's. The Churn Evo is the new model i guess. I ordered size 7 just like the previous model Churn that I loved. Too big. I will go to the store to try smaller size. I don't like the fact that I have to pay for return shipping. I thought I knew what I was getting since I owned and loved the older model Churn but I guess not.

light but a digging tongue

  • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Pros: The shoes are super light, the soles are cushiony, and I really like how cute they are. Cons: On day one I wore them without socks on inside the house and felt the back rubbing my heel and the tongue really digging into my foot. A couple of days later I wore it for a 10min walk to the store (and back), with socks on and loosened the lace to prevent cinching the tongue into my foot, but it was still digging. It'll require many more uses before the tongue softens enough so I can wear them for kayaking or other lake-side adventures.

Great amphibious shoe!

I ordered the Tevo Churn Evo in mint green; I wanted something that I could traverse across water with while hiking, as well as a reasonably-stylish shoe I would pair with street clothes and run errands in, etc. I've spent a lot of time hiking in Texas, where the weather is almost always hot, so I need a breathable shoe that keeps my feet cool while allowing my toes protection while on rocky trails. This shoe fits the bill perfectly-it's comfortable, durable, breathable, offers good support, and is cute to boot. {I've received many compliments on them, and even spurred some friends to buy their own pairs!} I've worn them around for the entire day at amusement parks, hiking, walking, etc. and they've been great. They pack well, don't take up a lot of space, and can substitute as gym shoes if you're really in a pinch. I also really love that when I get these shoes wet, they don't feel soggy or annoy me with their dampness like most other shoes do-it almost acts instead like a cooling system, keeping my feet from feeling over-heated like they typically do in other socks and shoes. Also, they don't seem to retain odor-you know after you've spent the day kayaking or hiking through streams and they start to stink from the moisture? The smell disappears after a day or two, whether or not you've remembered to rinse them off ;) I really do recommend these shoes-I searched high and low for something that was both amphibious AND attractive, and these were the best I found, and I'm very happy with them!

    Love the Teva Churn Evo

Iv'e been looking for a comfortable water shoe to wear during water aerobics and this shoe fits the bill. They have an arch support that helps support my arthritic feet when I bounce off the bottom of the pool so the pain is considerably reduced. They are easy on and off in and out of the water. I would recommend these shoes to anyone.
A plus is that they are as good looking as well as comfortable.
