Terry Bicycles Bella 8.5in Short - Women's
Bump your comfort up a notch.
Ideal for the cyclist looking to step-up their mileage without succumbing to uncomfortable pressure points and chaffing on longer rides, the Terry Bicycles Bella 8.5in Women's Short provides a body-conforming 6-panel design with flat stitching to eliminate irritation over sensitive skin areas. Its fabric uses a Meryl-spandex blend for an optimal mix of comfort and performance. Meryl is an extremely lightweight fabric, with ample breathability and quick-drying comfort on stifling summer rides. It's also antimicrobial, thanks to embedded silver ions that prevent odor-causing bacteria from taking hold. And by blending Spandex into the equation, you'll find these shorts to be form-fitting, highly elastic, and supportive along key muscle groups.
The integrated Flex Air chamois uses perforations to disperse built-up perspiration. This multi-density, four-way stretch chamois supports your sit bones without uncomfortable pressure points. Moreover, you'll appreciate the extra-wide, elastic-free waistband, which won't cut into your skin, as well as the silicone leg grippers for a secure, stay-put fit.

- Q & A
great length, helpful chamois
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: medium
I am a 50 year old cyclist and didn't want tight compression or super short and low cut shorts. These are a great length, and the chamois is differently shaped in front than any of the other jillion shorts I've ordered. I went for a 30 mile ride as soon as I got them and they were fantastic. The only thing is that the leg rides up on me a bit- but some of the European shorts were squeezing my leg too much so I'll take it. I also need more padding for over 30 miles, but for an everyday ride these are great. I also like the simple yet flattering design (I got the black with white stitching) and they are subtle enough for me to wear with all my tops. The medium was more generously cut than some of the European mediums I've tried.
