    Next level car camping.

Home is where you park it when you have the Tepui Gran Sabana 4-Season Tent mounted to the top of your rig. Being the largest offering from Tepui, the Gran Sabana sleeps four and comes with a removable annex, giving you a place to store gear and relax when it's raining in camp.

The Gran Sabana comes with universal mounting backets, allowing it to be mounted to just about any roof rack or after-market roof bar, and it comes with an 8.5-foot telescoping ladder, so you can easily access the main sleeping area. The sleeping area measures 72-inches wide by 96-inches long and sleeps four. The roomy A-frame design offers plenty of head space to sit up, relax, and play games when the weather is too foul to be out around the campfire. The sleeping area is built on a sturdy welded aluminum frame that is insulated and capped with an aluminum sheet for durability. On top of that, the main sleeping area comes with a foam mattress with cotton cover, giving you a comfortable place to spread out and sleep after a long drive, or big day in the mountains.

The Gran Sabana is built to withstand some surly weather with a 600-denier ripstop fabric used in the canopy, a PU treated nylon for the rainfly, and no-see-um mesh windows to keep the bugs out on those warm and clear summer nights. The frame of the tent is a 3/4-inch aluminum tubing that is set up by unfolding the tent from its closed position. When you are ready to pack up and hit the road, just collapse the tent, attach the included PVC travel cover over the collapsed tent, and you're ready to head out to your next destination.

    So much room!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I have used the Gran Sabana for the weekend a few times. Super convenient and comfortable. Slept like a baby on the included memory foam like mattress pad. Felt totally secure (from critters below!) and with the solid construction of the tent. Mounted on a Yakima rack over the bed, on my 2003 4dr Tacoma. Feels stable when driving, even at highway speeds, and I leave it on year round. Love the windows as they include mesh covers, or fully open for a great view from above. Fully waterproof, as I have recently discovered this winter!

Setup is easy for one person to do in 5min+, and breakdown is even faster. Can't think of any issues! My wife and I comfortably fit with all our gear for a few days, and have ample room to change within the tent itself, or use the annex below. Did I mention the headroom?
