Looks kind of like the kneepad pocket is conveniently placed to protect the top of your shins and leave your knees free to get banged up anyway. Any experience with this?

Hey Kristen, saw your comment. Try placing your high soch over the pant just under the green pocket. this will keep the pocket and knee pad stabilized and at the position of your knee. It works for me.
