The Teko Women's Light Hiking Wool Socks keep your feet fresh as a daisy and free of blisters. Its merino fabric feels soft to the touch, wicks away moisture, and is incredibly breathable. You'll extend your hike an extra mile or two when your feet aren't sweaty and irritated. Don't fear the streams, if you dunk a shoe, your Light Hiking Sock will dry quickly and you'll be on your way.

Bottom Line: The Teko Light Hiking Sock won't let sweat, water, or blisters slow you down.

I love these socks-warm and soft with smooth toe seams. Great for winter biking or wearing with my Danskos!

Comfy Socks

I haven't had any problems with these socks after wearing and washing a few times. They're really soft and comfortable and the size is perfect for wearing with my trail shoes. I'll be grabbing a couple more pairs next time they're on steep and cheap!

Short Sock

I love teko socks, but these are a short crew sock. They don't even come to the base of a womans calf. Otherwise they are a nice midweight, soft sock.

Nice but no Smartwool

By:
November 13, 2008

Okay, I'll admit it. I'm a tightwad. I hate spending money, especially on clothing. Unfortunately, I also happen to like good quality stuff. I bought these Teko socks as an alternative to my usual Smartwool. They seemed comparable and were about 60% of the price, as they were on sale. However, they don't maintain their elasticity and softness like Smartwool socks do. After three or four washings, they start to shrink a lot and also get a bit crispy like typical wool socks. Don't get me wrong, they are good socks. They are just not great socks. Next time I would spend the extra $8 for Smartwool.
