R9.8 130 Ski Boot - Men's

For years, Tecnica race boots have been instantly identifiable by their bright orange shell. This year, the orange is no more. Why, you ask? The black polyether used in the new line of race boots is a step above the old orange plastic, and offers greater snow sensitivity, a smoother flex pattern, and excellent power transfer. The new R9.8 130 Ski Boot offers these advantages and a wide range of adjustments to expert skiers who expect more out of their gear.

Modeled after Tecnica's World Cup Race boot, the R9.8 130 is a sturdy four buckle, 2-piece design. The Power Lock strap acts at a fifth buckle that offers powerful, performance-enhancing closure. For even more performance, a Power Chassis carbon steel frame is set into the soles for a direct transmission of energy from the boot and binding. Dual cuff alignment screws help dial in the fit specific to different user's lower legs, and a dual screw flex adjustment allows you to stiffen or soften the flex. The rear spoiler is attached with a hook-and-loop system, and can be easily adjusted or removed to match your forward lean preferences. Tecnica's Quadra Fit liner completes the package by using four different liner materials that are strategically placed for unmatched foot retention and optimal comfort. As an added extra, the R9.8 130 Ski Boot features the Quick Instep system with a hinged cuff that make getting in and out of the boot much easier than most other race boots.
