Mach1 120 Ski Boot - Men's

There are plenty of two and three-buckle boots out there, and they work great for some, but Tecnica's Mach 1 120 Men's Ski Boot is sticking with a classic four-buckle design, which seems like a pretty good call. Tecnica made its name making high-performance chargers, and while the Mach1 120 isn't a super-stiff soul-crushing plug boot, it definitely embraces Technica's high-performance heritage. The 120 flex is perfect for smaller, lighter, or aggressive but slightly less powerful rippers, and the 100mm last is wide enough to accommodate most feet but not so big that your feet will slide around and ruin your run. Like most Tecnicas, the Mach1 120 has a super-solid heel pocket for a locked-in fit, a pre-punched navicular area to prevent excessive top-of-the-foot pressure, and an asymmetrical toe box for a snug fit that won't freeze your toes into a solid block of ice.

It also comes stock with a fully moldable C.A.S UltraFit Pro liner, which fits well out of the box and can be heated to achieve the perfect fit. A flexible Quick Instep panel makes it easy to get the Mach1 on and off. To provide an extra dose of all-mountain-shredding power, there's a metal I-Rebound plate that connects the cuff to the lower shell, providing a firm, consistent flex, rear support, and turn-to-turn rebound energy that will help you stay forward and move from edge to edge powerfully and smoothly. Tecnica topped the package off with a 45mm power strap for a little bit more stability and control, and it screwed on rubberized and replaceable TechniGrip soles for security in icy parking lots, rocky ridges, and treacherous lodge stairways.
