Buckle into Tecnica's tougher-than-thou Agent 130 Ski Boot and put the hurt on the mountain. These 130-flex, 98mm-last freeride boots offer amazing versatility for cliff-hucking freeskiers and all-mountain chargers. Stomp those landings without the nerve-ending backlash on the Agent 130's shock-absorbing zeppa footbed. The Agent 130's 130-flex powers through the choppy snow and GS turns alike, while the foot-hugging 98mm last provides precise power transmission and feel at mach speeds. With its dual cuff articulation and flex-tweaking capabilities, this versatile ski boot handles changing conditions without a problem.

Bottom Line: The Tecnica Agent 130 Ski Boot puts the pedal to the medal and doesn't look back.

Love these boots. When I first got them I was worried they were going to kill my feet because I could barely stick my feet in! Plus I mixed up the sizing between UK and US so I thought I got a size too small. Haha.
Anyways, on my first day they felt great. Snug but not too tight, and stiff which is good since I'm tall and stuff. My feet didn't hurt at all until I walked back to the car which at this point the tips of my toes were hurting like hell. But they're ski boots, not shoes ;)

Is there any way you can get a Vibram Ride sole on a boot like

Is there any way you can get a Vibram Ride sole on a boot like this? Could you cant them and put a Vibram sole down there?

The issue with trying to add a Viabram sole on a ski boot is that it messes with the DIN settings on your bindings and they have a tendency to pre-release. Rossignol has somehow found a way around this, but I wouldn't suggest a DIY job.

2009-10 Agent 130

The Agent 130 is a great boot for freeriders that ski at an expert level and want the performance of a high-end race boot without sacrificing the freeride freedom. Next year's agents are purple with low-profile carbon steel buckles that flash bright green. I've been skiing them for a couple of weeks now and have used them both in the backcountry as well as in-bounds and in a freeskiing competition at Crested Butte. Plain and simple, these boots are great! Sorry for the snowy photo, wait...I can't apologize for shredding pow!

The only problem I have with these boots is that they are a bit narrow in the tow area. I suppose that I have a slightly wide foot, but I imagine so do most people that wear a 29.5 (11.5).

The boot is super stiff which allows for ultimate control. The shock absorbers on the tongue, back, and bottom totally cushion any hard landing you through at them.

Overall a great freeride boot, that I can't wait to break in (so my outside toes don't fall asleep anymore)

Ditto.

Love the boots and they have really improved my performance. But the outside toe takes some breaking in. But that problem is getting much better with time.

Great performance without sacrafice

By:
August 10, 2009

I have had these boots for 3 seasons. And lets just say they are perfect. Coming from the diablo to this boot i was worried that i would sacrafice performance or stiffness. But i was wrong. The boots are alomst identical to the diablo. Its a great boot. The shell molds are identical to the diablo. They just use a less stiff plastic on this boot. Wonderful and commfy liner. Very nice and water resistant. Not a lot of leaking has occured after 3 seasons. Buckles are very strong and have taken a bunch of gates and still are in perfect shape.

Nice and warm and a good alternative if you can look past the plaid.
