A price that can't be beat

For the value, these are great poles.
They're a little heavy, and not the stiffest pole out there, but you aren't going to have to pay $100+ and that's great if all you're looking to do is get a little work out in the winter.
I get a little flex from these poles if I use them for skate skiing and my arms get awfully tired, but they hold up pretty well for classic.
I've seen people accidentally fall over and land on their poles and they bend pretty easy, and since it's aluminum, if you try to bend them back you're likely to snap them.

For the price, these poles are hard to beat. If you're an "experienced" nordic skier and need a pole to really perform for you, I'd look elsewhere and maybe give the Salomon Equipe 60 Carbon Ski Pole a shot

Bought these at a local chain (sorry BC, but I needed them that day) and the baskets fell off and were lost on the first use. I made the mistake of assuming the store staff mounted them properly. Today, I bent one recovering from a fall. I didn't strike anything with them. The pole simply bent when I was forcing myself upward. It bent right at the taper.

I really like these poles. These shafts seem a little fat but that is not a problem. I never felt them flex or vibrate when skiing. The loose end of the straps sticks straight up which gets a little annoying when you are taking a break but when skiing it doesn't bother you. For some reason when I got them at rei they were $14. i really am not sure why they were so cheap but i'm not complaining. The price is cheap, the quality is defiantly not.

Good Value

Good Norwegian made poles, terrific value touring poles. I bought these as a replacement for my 3 year old Rossi's that bent after a seemingly harmless fall. The basket on the bottom allows for great performance in deep snow.
