Swix made the Women's Star Advanced Jacket with wind- and water-resistant microfiber fabric along the front and sleeves, and breathable elastic panels in the back. This way, your front stays warm as you blast around the Nordic ski track, and your excess hot air has a way to escape before it turns into clammy sweat. The Star Advanced Jacket's semi-high, knit collar keeps your neck warm on morning training runs, and reflective trim helps motorists see you when you're out at dusk. A medium-fitted cut allows for a layer underneath.

The Swix Star jacket is great. I have worn this jacket on my early morning runs (of anywhere from 6 to 10 miles) for about a month. The temperature outside has been averaging about 19 degrees and quite breezy most days. I put the jacket on over a core base layer & a turleneck and stayed snug as a bug. The high neck collar is extremely helpful, especially when I first walk out the door. I just fold the collar down once I get warmed up. The jacket is not heavy-feeling at all. Also, it isn't "noisy" like some jackets can be. Lastly, it is a great looking jacket (I ordered it in Sunset) and fits nicely.
