I skied with this pole a couple of days in deeper snow. The powder basket attachment is very nice, but the length of the pole/spike beneath the basket is too short. In soft PNW snow the short spike washes out when poling; very frustrating when trying to efficiently get to the goods.

I've always been a fan of Swix poles. This is my first pair of Aluminum poles from Swix. They seem solid, they're light and the grips and the tabs work great which is what I really like about Swix poles. They also come with some really nice interchangeable ski baskets for pow days. Overall, great price and value.
