Riding in your skivvies doesn't make sense. Neither does waxing without a scraper.

Waxing your board and then leaving the excess wax on is like dressing with wicking skivvies and performance base layers and then forgetting about a hoody and riding jacket. After ironing in your wax, use the long edge of the Swix Plexi Scraper to remove excess material.

Gets the job done

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

This scraper gets the job done just takes a little bit longer than one with a solid edge. For the same price I would recommend going with the steel scraper.

Snowboard wax scrape

Im not sure what these other kats are talking about, but I wax my board more than anyone I know and this is an amazing scrape. Friends have also used it without a problem with their skis or board.

    OK Scraper

I've used this on my daughter's race skis, and it does the job. On my snowboard, well, it takes a long time. Would be better if it had an indent on one edge to scrape the edges of any spillover wax.

I work at a mountain and have/get to ride all day every day, so I wax a lot. It worked well at first, sure, but after a couple months, it just gets too dull and uneven. I don't really have time to worry about sharpening it, so I got a metal one.
Also, it's kinda small, and a little awkward to handle, not much to grip.
It would be adequate for a season or 2 for someone that rides on weekends or doesn't wax much.

        Not for snowbards!!

Well I expected more from Swix, this scraper only works for my wife's skis. Damn thing is way to small for a snowboard period. Make a larger scraper

          Not a true snowboard scraper

I was disappointed when this arrived as it is only 6 7/8 inches long (17.5 cm). It may be great for ski's, but it definitely does not qualify as a snowboard scraper for me. I'll use it on my son's skis and continue to use the Dakine 10 inch scraper that I have.

            how long is the scraper?

            My Favorite Scraper

This scraper is awesome. Stays pretty sharp, and does a great job of removing wax in the scraping process. Doubles as a true bar so you can tell when you need to drop the skis off at the shop for a basegrind. Very durable, but a pain to clean. It is the same as the standard scraper but the extra width makes scraping your fatter, pow skis a breeze. This scraper is awesome.
