Anybody understand the sizing on these gloves? Is it just me or is a 7" wide hand just creepy? Talk about backcountry...

The measurement is circumference wrapped around your fist. If you had that wide a hand, you could have one heck of a pimp slap.

Bought this for my wife. She is petite and I thought the Medium would be a little big for her but it was actually tight. This glove is on the small side. She also did not like the curved fingers which makes them only practical for skiing.
If you only want them for cross country skiing and nothing else they would be fine. Order a size larger than you normally would.
