The Swix Coarse Diamond Stone has the cutting ability of a file and the deburring and polishing ability of a stone all in one tool. The Coarse Diamond Stone is made to carry in your pocket for quick removal of the fine burrs created on the edge of ski or board when riding aggressively on man-made snow. Just a couple of quick passes down your edges will cut away the burrs for smoother turning. It will also fit into most Swix file holders for deburring.
Bottom Line: A diamond you can actually afford.

My favorite diamond stone has been the Moonflex, but these new Swix ones are equal and perhaps a bit better than the Moonflex. I like both the Moonflex and the Swix better than the DMT stones.
The red Swix diamond stone is a 400, what some would call a medium grit.
