Swiftwick Aspire Seven Sock

The Swiftwick Aspire Seven Socks are knit in Tennessee of Olefin yarns. Olefin is a lightweight polypropylene fiber that wicks moisture to keep your feet dry. Dry feet mean less chafing and blisters. Additionally, the Olefin is hydrophobic so that it won’t absorb moisture from the outside. The footbed is cushioned and conforms to the shape of your arch with a knit-in nylon and spandex arch support. This thicker knit gradually becomes a channeled upper that acts as a subtle compression sock, helping to improve blood flow through your extremities.

The best socks, period.

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I love Assos clothing. I wear it on the road and on the trail. Base layers, bibs jerseys, jackets, vests, warmers, etc. What I don't wear is Assos socks. They're terrible. Bad fit with in the wrong places. I went on a quest to find the best cycling socks. Finally, I found Swiftwick. It was like the heavens smiled on me. I wear the Aspire socks during warm/hot road rides, the Pursuit (wool) socks during cool/cold road rides, and the Flite XT Trail socks on the mountain bike. I even have a hiking specific pair. The socks have a nice level of compression without being overly tight. I love the choice of multiple cuff heights and colors. There is a reason why so many people took the time to fill out reviews because these socks are too good, you want to tell the world. I wear a size 45 Specialized S-Works road shoe and a size L in all Swiftwick socks.

Feel So Good

Familiarity:

I have definitely found the right height of sock. They are the best fitting on the ankle/calf/leg. They seem to hug the leg portion very well and promote good circulation through the foot. The majority of my sock collection are from the GCN Cycling Club monthly sock. While those are good, these are way better. I'm going to continue to be buying these socks!

Best Ever

If you are looking for new socks, there is no reason not to give these a try if you haven't already. In my experience, they are the most comfortable socks out there. Not only that, but they are pretty durable as well. I have one pair that I've had for a few seasons, and they are still going strong. If you want a sock that offers good compression and breathability, this is the one for you. Also, the 7" length is undoubtedly the best length they offer.

Right out of the gate Swiftwick has me! Made in the USA and a Tommy Boy guarantee right front and center "the best socks you will ever wear guaranteed"! It says it right on the package and it's legit!!! We all know what it's like out on the ride smashing it out in the heat sweat dripping all over the place, running out of water, your last gel hours ago and no recovery drink in site. You get home strip the chamois, jersey and the HR strap, but wait a minute..... These socks are so comfortable you just plop down in the chair, relax and just bask in the awesomeness that is Swiftwick Aspire! Hands down Swiftwick is my go to sock in the Aspire, Vision or Pursuit in the seven inch length. Don't believe me..... get a pair and see if these are not the socks that you grab for that century ride maybe that A group ride you've been struggling to stay in the pack for or that 45m fitness test you got on the trainer that you've been dreading all week since your coach put it on the schedule. Maybe that's what they mean in the name Aspire.... now while you ponder that deep thought i'm going for a ride.

Confirmed: Best socks ever

Every time I go to buy a different pair of socks, I end up with the white Aspire 7 in my cart. Pair these puppies with some white shoes and you have a match made in heaven. The logo is not so huge that it's the only thing you see on the socks. Instead, it accents nicely with your shoes, whichever brand they might be. Compression is great and they've lasted me well over the life of any other socks I've used without showing nearly the same signs of wear and tear.

The Perfect Sock for hot weather

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

This review really is a long time coming. I was introduced to Swiftwick about 10years ago by a friend of mine who started carrying them at his shop. Now, Swiftwick is the only brand of sock that I buy. I started with the Pursuit Fours and that's what got me hooked. Now my drawer is full of Visions and Aspires along with the Pursuits! The Vision has become my GoTo sock when the furnace kicks on here in Central Texas. My feet never get hot in these socks and they wick sweat like crazy! The cuff never slips and has the perfect amount of compression. My favorite thing about these and every other Swiftwick sock is the way they fit my feet perfectly around my toes. There's NEVER any bunching or extra material on either side of my toes. It's like they were custom made for my feet. I wear a size large and a US size 10. I'd like a few different colors but that's the only area they could improve. Get some!

These socks have great compression. I also love the height - not too high or low. They take sweat well and dry really fast. These work well for warm weather riding.

I really like the compression and fit, and that they don't slide down. Some thought went into the stitching and manufacturing, makes for a solid pair of socks.

Awesome socks

Great socks. Does exactly what a cycling sock needs to do: protects the foot from your cycling shoes while pedaling your heart out. Almost would have been five stars from me, but I received a medium sock and a large sock. I'm not joking when I say it took me until well after my return window to find this out... To be fair, I was using them just fine until I noticed it. I would've preferred a large size for both because I wear size 13 shoes. At any rate, exceptional socks regardless of size.
