Protection from the elements.
While some people use technology to take pictures of their meals, you simply use the Swany X-Calibur TTL 3 Finger Mitten to document your ski runs. Since this mitten is touchscreen compatible and insulated with Tri-plex, Dyna-Therm, and Primaloft, you never have to freeze your fingers as you use your tech. The smooth grain LeatherShield shell is durable and breathable with a Dryfinger Reflection waterproof insert, which means you have freedom to explore the backcountry without worrying about your mitten. The TouchTec leather palm grip holds your poles and phone easily while the AquaGuard lock-down zipper keeps it in place, even if you crash. Cool Hand Gloves
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
These gloves are as advertised. Well worth the money!. I just got back from a couple of weeks skiing in Europe where temperatures ranged from well below zero to slightly above freezing. Glove-Mitts are the best. I've tried mittens but they are too clumsy. Fit is true and I could even use my iPhone, though I did struggle using my point-and-shoot camera. The gloves are supple enough to allow a good grip on a beer glass or a fork when dining outside in the finest European tradition. They we're borderline too warm when the temperature is above freezing. The gloves definitely need to be regularly waterproofed, especially if you are expecting wet snow conditions like we ran into.
