Is this the same belt as the Suunto Memory Belt? I ask because the Memory Belt is waterproof and can be used for swimming, but in the product description for the Home Training Pack it says NO for this being waterproof. Are they referring to the belt or the PC Pod

This is the standard HR belt, not the memory belt, so it will not record HR data internally. It's not that it isn't waterproof, it's that it doesn't send signals through the water.

Bought a memory belt in march. Worked well for 2 months. Sent it back to be fixed. Got it back this month - no strap. No response from service ????- Great idea - worked fine at first. Use it for medical heart monitoring.
