Works good , accurate +/- meter. Used in basic altimeter survey for farm water supply projects . Simple robust for dusty hot conditions for Central NSW ( Australia)...Chears Kaos....

It is made in China. Although Suunto is headquartered in Finland and still produce a small number of products from there, all their cores and most items are manufactured in China.

These are super accurate, providing you calibrate them before you use them. They read altitude from barometric presssure, so unsettled weather will make them slightly less accurate, but, typically within 10-15 feet over the space of the day, even in stormy conditions.
