It doesn't monitor heart-rate but it does show you depth to 100 feet.

Very bad watch.
I used it for 8 months and it started having problems with batteries.
When I try to use Suunto's Warranty, it was a problem.
Thanks to God, I bought it via Backcountry and they respond me immediately and changed the product.

Like he said, there is a countdown timer. The CDT only counts down from 99 minutes 59 sec, however. Not 24HR countdown like some of its competitors.

All of the newer Suunto Cores have the countdown timer. This includes the Collector's Edition!

I use my suunto #SUN0205 item, watch as a altimiter in freefall when I skydive and to make it to work on time when I surf in the morning. I had a different model that I really like but the band kept breaking and it wound up at the bottom of the ocean. I like this suunto because it is a bigger face, easier to see in freefall, and a much more solid watch band. It is working out good and has only froze once in freefall. I am hard on watches and this one seem to be able to go the distance, I will let you know.

Yes...this watch is off the hook. It has all the feature of the Suunto Core product....however this is a special edition. Only a small amount of these watches were produced. It's a collecters item!
