Its ok

  • Gender: Male
  • Fit: True to size

I have the orange band:

This band is pretty good. I like the look and feel of it but it does get dirty really easy and it doesn't clean up very well. That said I still prefer this band over the standard black military band. Its a watch and if it looks a little dirty than you are probably getting some use out of it. Also it is well made, I like that the posts that connect it to the watch face are solid all the way through. I wouldn't want to chance losing a $300 + watch because of a cheap band. Just saying

Too expensive

Really 50 bucks is ridiculous for a peice of plastic. Suunto should replace them for FREE!

Piece of plastic which is falling apart after a couple of years using it!!!

Will you guys ever carry the "blue crush" suunto core factory blue elastic band? Looks like its only available in Europe right now.

Responded on

Hey,

Unfortunately I don't see any orders at this time. I recommend contacting Suunto directly to see who is or will be carrying it.

Durable

I've had my suunto core for about 5 years. After about 3 years I replaced the strap with a new black one. Works great, takes tons of abuse, and never leaves my wrist!

I have an Origo Granite Peak Watch that needs a new band. Would this one work? The US distributor for Origo stopped distributing, and I'm trying to find a band for the watch. Any info?

Responded on

No other type of watch band can fit. I need something like this, which has the post running through. Origo has a design similar to this, so I know the style would fit, but the concern is the proper sizing. Watch bands from Chisco, or any other generic producer, will not work with Origo.

Will this strap work on the womans Lumi watch as well?

great atrap

My watch had the flat orange strap which made the watch flop from side to side, this one is way better, with the contour it allows the watch to sit on the wrist.

orange strap

i bought the orange strap on the watch thinking it'd be cool but it gets dirty fast and can't be cleaned very easily. Now its more of an orange middle and greenish around the edges, also the "flat" strap slides all over my wrist and is difficult to secure the strap on with one hand. So i'm hoping the light black that is curved is better.

I've got the Core and want to replace the standard strap with a Silverfoot strap. What can I purchase to make that happen?

Responded on

Aaron, you need the lugs from any of the following strap colors: Flat Orange, Flat Black, Leather Brown, Leather Black, or Aluminum. Depends on whether you want a black lug set or a aluminum/chrome lug set. You'll need a set of small jeweler's screwdrivers. All of the bands I mentioned have small flathead screws, except for the Aluminum which has a small hex head. The buckle is LocTite'd on, so leave it if you don't need to take it off, it will break.

What other option you got....?

This strap is more durable then was reported on the internet. However, I took a fall on my mountain bike and the watch took the brunt of the force. That is why I had to by a new starp.

I have lost the screw of the strap. Where can I find a screw? I do not need the strap because it's like new.

Responded on

Unfortunately, Suunto policy is to not sell parts individually. You can contact Suunto customer service, who sometimes go above and beyond Suunto policy by sending out parts. Worst case scenario, you have to buy a new strap.

Responded on

Yes, replacement pins are included with these bands.

I have a Casio Pathfinder PAW 1300 and need to replace the strap. Does anyone know if the Suunto flat core black/orange strap would work? Thanks.

Responded on

It's possible, as the width of the Suunto lugs exceed the external strap mounting area on the Casio, but I wouldn't recommend it. First, the diameter of the strap lugs on the Casio is larger than the screw sleeve diameter on the Suunto, making a loose fit almost a certainty. Secondly, the distance between the screw sleeves on the Suunto lugs is very small, and would likely make contact with the mounting area on the Casio.

For strap changing on this particular watch, you need the adapter I attached.

Good strap, enhanced look of the watch

Good strap, enhanced look of the watch (actually it reduces the bulky look). The installation is simple but not easy to accomplish because in order to assure the proper torque (meaning that the screw will not get loose with the normal use) you have turn one side while holding the other -in perfect aligned force- and, at the same time, being careful not to scratch the watch or stab yourself if you loose the grip.
It would be a great idea if Suunto would include one extra screw on the set because i missed the above and loose one pretty soon.
Bottom line, when you have passed the installation process it is all good.

I need a replacement strap for my Suunto X9i.What is the price including shiping to Australia

Best Answer Responded on

The x9i strap isn't replaceable, you'll have to return the watch to Suunto for replacement, since it's a one piece design.
