Description

Only Surftech has the Laird approval.

Laird Hamilton is synonymous with big-wave and tow-in surfing, but he’s also been on the forefront of the stand-up paddling movement. Stand-uppers and those ready to try this popular pastime will be stoked on the Surftech Laird RH Tuflite Paddle Board. A wide, thick design provides substantial stability, while low rocker and narrow tail work in your favor for uncompromised speed and maneuverability. Surftech’s proprietary Tuflite core won’t absorb water if you do happen to bounce off rocks and crack the fiberglass shell, or kiss some coral on flat day off the coast.

All of the Surftech's Laird boards come with either a single or a Future 4 +1 setup.

Love this SUP

I bought the 11' version of this board as an all-rounder with room to grow on, so to speak. It's week one for the board and me in terms of SUP and so far I've not been disappointed. It has handled the chop of a windy day with aplomb and really cruises fast when it's glass out there. This is a fairly low volume board, it rides pretty low in the water, and that surprised me at first. As a beginner at SUP I definitely felt like this board was easy to use but is not something that will become boring as my skills improve. I like the flexibility that comes with 5 fin placement points and can't wait to keep having fun and seeing how far I can push this board.
