Excellent Starting Board

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Stable as the US economy was in the 50's - this board allows anybody to get into the sport. The width is ideal for learning the proper technique and it glides pretty effortlessly across the water. A little on the heavier side because of its size, but it makes up for it in buoyancy - My puppy loves to take it for a cruise - except for when she see's birds - then shes off!!

Great starting board!

Good all around

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This isn't the fastest SUP out there, but if you just need to cruise on a lake, do some yoga or work out the core and back a little this is definitely the right choice. Purchase a couple straps and it fits nicely on top of SUV's or crossovers (I drive a Santa Fe); it's light enough that you can load it yourself if need be. It is perfect for car camping trips to lakes for fishing and morning sun salutations.

Does this board come with a paddle? Thx.

Nada, boards and paddles are sold desperately. Similar to pants and belts, there is just to much personal preference to combine the two.

The question above is old, but I wanted to clarify that I recently purchased 2 of these boards and they do indeed come with adjustable paddles.
