One Life Ski

Life is short and powder is fleeting, so make the turns feel bottomless aboard the three-stage rocker of the Surface One Life Ski. Eight degrees of progressive rocker coupled with a flat-underfoot profile means that surfy smears and burly drops go down smooth, like a frosty brew on a warm summer night. Step onto the poplar core of the One Life and feel the freedom to seize-the-slay anywhere, any time.

  • Three-stage rocker floats the tip, helps you stay on top of deep powder, and creates a springboard-like tail for ollies
  • Tip-to-tail wood core has more pop than a carbonated nuclear reactor and more durability than a KEVLARŪ coated-elephant
  • Full-wrap edges holds the thick 2.5mm edge tightly to avoid rock-induced blowouts
  • ABS sidewall construction maintains balanced torsional rigidity so you can carve turns without sacrificing your ability to ollie or flex the ski
  • Reinforced mounting points stop unexpected separation anxiety between your binding and your One Life

Bottom Line: Live the white-room life.

I skied this ski in about every condition possible except what it was ideally made for. Slush, corn, crust, hard pack, ice... It did all of these pretty well. It was a bit funny getting used to the three staged rocker but its sick. They are pretty stiff and stomp just about anything so point it.

I mounted these with Solly 916's (old school all metal) and they rip. Lots of fun and surprisingly stiff. Turns like a Slalom ski due to the sidecut and minimal running length but if you're dropping anything in more than 8" of new snow, the tail is plety stiff to keep you out of a wheelie. Other skis I've enjoyed include the S7, Bibby Pro and the Armada JJ. Skis I have not enjoyed: Black Diamond anything
