The vivacious Surface Live Life Ski, with its big, fat, rockered tip loves to float over pow and bust through crud. Its maple and poplar wood core give it high-speed stability and strength, while still maintaining a lively spirit. A mini-cap over its ABS sidewalls add durability without added weight, so you can swing these sticks around for a winning spin or make for a quick and dirty ascent in the backcountry. The tip and tail are tapered to prevent grabbing or hooking and taking you for a ride during a blazing-fast straightline. For energetic rebound and edgehold on hard snow, there's traditional camber underfoot and a burly full-wrap steel edge. With its mid-fat to fat waist and large-turn radius, this ski loves to lightning-fast runs, but it likes a little billy-goating here and there and is sure-footed enough for that, too.

Anybody mount these tele? wondering how stiff the tails are and responsiveness of the ski, looking to use them for everything from deep pow to bumps and trees... thoughts?

I haven't personally mounted them but i have know a few people to do so. Brody Leven used them for touring quite a bit from what i understand when he was still was with surface skis. My friend has them (no touring bindings) he uses them at Alta and he totally shreds on them. Great ski!
