Here's what others have to say...

Why has there been no XL size offered this year? Need to replace my current 2 yr old SA hat. They don't seem to exist anywhere.

Hey Douglas,

It does not look like Sunday Afternoons makes this hat in the XL anymore. Give me a shout if you would like to try out the Large. I sent you over an email also.

BVI cruising

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

I purchased this hat specifically for a trip with the family to the BVI because I lost my previous sun hat in the Desert. I have many different styles of hats that I love and use when I am outside or need to cover up my nappy hair. My hats are put through the wringer and take a beating.

The highlander has some great features that sure do come in handy. First off in the inside it has a small pocket that I was able to put my wallet in when I went ashore. The next handy feature is a sunglasses slot for the ear piece's of your shade to secure hold them on the brim of the hat. The last thing the impressed me most about the hat was the chin strap - very strong and will keep the hat on your head in very high winds.

If you need a sun hat for the summer get this one. Give me a shout.
