When the weather is so bitter that you'd rather stay in, but your legs are screaming for some exercise, you need not only your core, but also your extremities to stay toasty warm. If your ride is dry, but cold, the Sugoi RSE Subzero gloves will keep your hands happy.

Warmer than the Sugoi RS Zero glove, the RS Subzero is a full-fingered glove insulated with a 100g Thinsulate liner. The full-fingered design makes braking and shifting easy, and the pre-curved cut interfaces with the handlebars, decreasing bulk around knuckles. Silicone gripper patterns were applied to the forefingers and palms, which increases grip security on the levers and bars.

In addition to added insulation, the Subzero has an Hipora water-resistant membrane liner. It is finished with a windproof shell and adjustable hook-and loop-cuff that fits under your winter jacket.

The Sugoi RSE Subzero Gloves come in X-Small through X-Large and in the color Black.

How water resistant are they ??

Certainly good enough for riding in the rain for a short period.. and despite the other review, I found them the best pair of winter gloves I've ever owned (versus dhb, SealSkinz and Gore). However, I have unfortunately tested them in torrential rain and after about 2 hours my hands were wrinkled and cold.

not that "sub" zero

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

very good from 30s down to 25-28.
for me, not a great value for base miles in the north east where its most often 16-25.
