Reveal no weakness to the weather.
Cutting your way through nasty winter weather on your rides reveals the chinks in your armor pretty quickly. For example, you will immediately notice if you haven't adequately protected your feet, as they will grow painfully numb in the wind, and especially so if its wet out. Cover up down below with the Sugoi Resistor Booties, designed to neutralize those nor'easters all winter long.
As the name implies, the Resistor booties block wind and rain with their polyurethane stretch laminate construction. On the outside, this foot- and ankle-conforming fabric shields you from the elements with its durable rubberized composition. And to keep your feet warm and comfortable during your late-season rides, Sugoi lined the insides of the booties with a light fleece fabric. Exterior center seam sealing was also applied the Resistors, further ensuring protection from the rain, mud, and icy air.
Finishing details include offset locking side zippers that eliminate Achilles tendon pressure, as well as an open bottom design that works with a variety of cycling shoes. A single hook-and-loop strap provides a secure fit across the sole. Reflective piping was also added to the booties' ankle zippers in order to increase your visibility to motorists in low-light conditions.
The Sugoi Resistor Booties are available in four sizes from Small to X-Large and in the color Black. Please note that these covers are only compatible wtih three-hole road cleats.

- Q & A
Better than most
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: Runs large
- Size Bought: M
I have been hunting for proper shoe covers for some time. Something that looked the business and had adequate protection from the cold. These fit the bill on both counts, snug without lots of bulky material. Much easier to put on and off than most other brands. Not a lot of insulation but keeping the wind off your toes goes a long way. I have worn them down to 30 degrees on the road bike.
I did rip a small hole in the side after numerous rides. While I would not call them delicate they are also not bomb proof.
I would expect to get 2-3 seasons of use out of these.
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I bought a size L for size 45 shoe and thought it did fit, not a snug as I would like them. Then on one ride, I manage to tear them. The material is very thin and doesn't seem very durable. That seems to be a common statement though so perhaps most of the thin shoe covers are this way? So with that said, they are what they are and delicate like most of the shoe covers I tried. So with that, I'm still in search of the right pair.
