Great Tights... If Your Saddle is Black

Bought these on Bonktown for a great price. Fit is excellent and true to size. Fabric thickness if perfect for fall riding.

BUT, just completed my first ride with these tights this morning, and found the white parts of my saddle completely stained when I got off the bike. There is definitely some sort of dye that rubbed off onto the saddle, and all the white parts are now stained a brown/red color. Tried a few different cleaners, and the stain appers to be permanent. Am really disappointed with this. So, beware... if you have a solid black saddle, go for it. Otherwise, consider yourself warned!

Have you tried DOW scrubbing bubbles? I have found that product to be the only cleaner that gets my leather seats clean in my car. A little harsh on the leather so may want to use it on a test spot first

dude, you shoulda washed them first, problem solved.

What do you do, wear these under your bibs?...

What do you do, wear these under your bibs? Can you also use them for running in the winter cold as a single layer?

Best Answer Responded on

Wear them over your bibs. These seem to have no pad so put on your padded shorts and slide the tights on top. I'd advise putting on 1 leg at a time ;-)
