This lightweight semi-fitted vest features wind- and water-resistant fabric on the front and breathable mesh fabric on the mid- and lower back—all in a super lightweight package. The Helium Vest’s front fabric stops the wind and drizzle from robbing your warmth from your core while you pedal or run. The back fabric features a mini-triangle hole pattern that vents heat, yet doesn't sacrifice coverage. A back pocket holds your MP3 or keys, and 3M Scotchlite along the front zipper helps drivers see you in low light conditions.

Bottom Line: Real light and weather-resistant, but it won’t make your voice any higher.

Nice Vest

Got the wind resistance in a light weight vest, which was what I was going for, but the fit is a little odd on me personally. I'm 5'11, 180 lbs and ordered a large, which is what I wear in every other article of clothing I have. It seems wide around the mid section, but that's more of a criticism of the way it looks rather than its function. Functionally, it's exactly what I wanted so I'm happy with the purchase.

I'm 6'1", 200 lbs...normal build. Does anybody have an opinion on XL vs. L? I'm looking to lose more weight but would like to wear this in the mean time.

So light you wont even notice its on or stuffed somewhere. Great for a semi chilly morning with enough ventilation to keep it knocked down.

I like the yellow for maximum visibility while riding my bike or walking the dogs. The front is wind resistant while the back is mesh to allow it to breathe. Quality is on par with other bike manufactures vests.
