I was disappointed when I received these shorts. The idea of having removable liner seamed good, in reality it is very cumbersome. Since the liner and the shorts are separate, there is no opening in front of the liner for a quick bathroom break on the trails. The pad is also very large, it feels like someone stuck a potato in your shorts.
Are these pretty true to size, or do they run big/small?

Finally got a chance to get these for my husband, and I'm really happy that I bought them. The liner is extremely comfortable, and the fit (XL) is great. The shell is not tight and the pull tabs on the sides unable him to make it as snug as was needed it to be. These shorts have an array of pockets. You should be able to carry everything you need. He liked the small pocket on the lower right leg for carrying his ID and some cash. The vent zips on the front are very useful too. I liked tank green color. My husband is realy happy with these shorts!
