Amazing commuter glove.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs small

These gloves rock. Some of the best gear I own, as far as doing what it's supposed to do. I commuted to school on my bike in Utah, not a warm endeavor during parts of the winter, when it's 10 degrees and breezy. These gloves made it bearable.

Every feature is so well thought out with these. They have a stretchy, windproof, waterproof top softhsell, that's bombproof. Nothing gets through it. It feels really nice. On the palm and in between the fingers is a multilayer fleece and insulation layer It keeps your hands warm. Over that, on the palm and fingertips is a synthetic leather, but a tad more tacky, and it has grippy silicon things on it that keep your hands on the bar and fingers on the brakes. Velcro closure works, lasts forever, never had a problem with it. Reflective touches aren't super necessary, but they look nice. Mandatory snot wipe on the thumb is nice and soft. Finally, one AWESOME feature is that each glove has a magnet in the cuff that holds the gloves together, or to the frame of the bike while you're locking it up, or to the rack, or wherever you want to put them. No fiddling with those plastic clips when you have cold hands. SUCH a nice touch, I love that feature. I wear these gloves even when I'm not riding my bike.

The only gripes are that they get a bit clammy (small price to pay to keep from frozen hands), and some air will actually seep through the stitching where the palm and back of hand meet. However, it kind of feels nice and ventilates the glove, so it's a pro and a con.

Amazing gloves, highly recommended. Runs small, I wear an XS and usually wear a S in other brands.

Great gloves for cold days

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I pretty much love anything Sugoi does. These gloves are no exception. Comfortable and functional. This is what Sugoi is know for. I live in Vancouver and these things will be used everyday when the cold and rain fall.
