I was looking for some summer bike shorts that did not cover all the way to my knee. I am 5'2" and 115 lbs and these are a great shorter option. The chamois provides better padding than most others I have tried- very comfortable.

Though I loved the fit of these shorts around the waist, I felt the padding was a bit much for my liking. I generally do rides of 20-50 miles and I felt like I was wearing a large diaper. I did not try them out on the bike, however, but trying them on alone was enough to make me decide to return them.

I ordered these in the gunmetal/black colorway & ended up returning for the regular evolution short in the black with pink. The gunmetal /black colorway had the gunmetal color over te back panels and just disn't look right on my body.

However, the shorts are Great. The pad is amazing in these, and the material has a rip stop-style appearance that acts like a compression short.

I just got my second pair of these. Sugoi improved the Chamois this year. They are nice and thin for hot summer rides.

Only about an inch shorter than the Castelli. Material is a bit stiff. I recommend ordering a size up. Thinking about returning these.

Do these shorts have the pad in them or not? I can't stand typical bike shorts with the pads in them, and I can't tell from the description here if these include the chamois pad or not.
