Tights are probably nice but they're awfully, ya know, tight? The Sugoi Espresso pant is a relaxed fit thermal running pant that's still plenty techy but doesn't cling like tights and doesn't advertise the precise contour of your rear end to the world. The Espresso is made from Midzero, an awesome blend of stretch wicking outer layer and fleecy lined interior that's warm, wicks moisture and is mind-blowingly comfortable. Two low profile zipper pockets on the front of the Espresso give you a place to warm your hands or stash keys and energy food. The Espresso works brilliantly as emergency warmth for hiking or long trail runs, thanks to the 7-inch ankle zipper that let you pull it on fast right over shoes or boots.
Bottom Line: Think of them as not-so-Tights.

Whoever wrote the product description for these pants hit the nail on the head. I am a woman looking for functional active wear. I specifically bought these because the description said they wouldn't show the shape of my rear. They are perfect. I wear them over biking shorts and have ridden in 30 degrees with a stiff breeze and been great. Comfy enough to sleep in. Trim fit but not clingy. Perfect combination.
