Oh I wanted to love this top. Everything seemed perfect.....we just couldn't make it work out between us. I think I just had to come to one of those "it's not you, it's me" moments.

Let's talk about the good (so many things!)
The fabric on this tank is unreal. It's so soft, it just screams "WEAR ME! FOREVER!" There are no weird seams to rub or chafe and it really feels like a dream to wear. The detailing makes it interesting and sets it apart from other tanks in my closet. The racerback cut is cute--I love the look of this paired with the Striders Edge lemon strappy sports bra peeking out.

I am big fan of longer tops and this one is the perfect length. It stays in place during down dog, and doesn't ride up under my harness when I climb.This top breathes well and is comfortable long after my workout is done.

So why the breakup? It was the fit. It just didn't work for ME. It's not fitted, but it's not really the right kind of loose--it just felt BIG on me--I'm 112lbs, 32A and have the XS. I feel like the cut is for someone a bit bustier (ahem, I am NOT), and it looks more awkward than cute for my body type with the empire waist. The high neck in the back would work better if it was fitted--but because it's looser, it moves up and down and all around when I'm moving, and I'd rather it stay put.

Striders Edge is a new-to-me brand and I was so happy to team up with them and Backcountry for this review. They are a London based company and they offer so many stylish and functional clothing options for all your workout needs. While this top didn't work out the way I hoped it would, I have fallen in love with some of their other products and won't hesitate to try out more of their clothing.
