Use the Tibloc as an emergency ascender and for simul-climbing, to protect the leader from a second falling. Chance of having the sheath of the rope torn by the teeth. Way to minimize this is to file down the first few (short) teeth on the rounded bottom of the Tibloc. Has worked for me for years! www.stephenkoch.com
