The instructions say the install should take five minutes. However, I got hung up on one thing. The "D-ring" ships with a bolt and nut. I thought that you needed to use that bolt and nut to attach the D-ring to the frame. However, you simply use the existing phillips head screw. You remove it from the frame, thread it through the D-ring with the curved side facing the frame (for best fit) and screw it on. I tried the other option first and it was no worky.
