Good simple shorts
prAna Bliss Short - Women's
April 18, 2008
This fabric is great for warm weather, even the darker colors. Nice modern fit, and not too many pockets (only 1), you'd never put anything into anyway. These shorts in my opinion are too short to fit and stay in harness legloops. Good for bouldering, although expect the fabric to start pilling if you do.

Very Comfy, low rise, accommodates a layer easily. Basic but good.

great fit
Outdoor Research Specter Fleece Jacket - Women's
March 5, 2007
This jacket is pricey for the materials used. But it more than makes up for that in the outstanding quality of the feminine fit and styling. This has become my go to base layer and light jacket. Rather than a less expensive jacket sitting in my closet.

Not just for Men
Black Diamond Phoenix Harness
March 5, 2007
The higher rise of the new womens' harnesses always felt wrong to me. This harness fits properly, no pinching or hitting too close to my rib cage, and is ultra lightweight and best suited to sport climbing.
