great bag
Kelty Chinook Sleeping Bag: 20 Degree Quallofill
September 26, 2007
I took this bag out to WVA at the Songer whitewater camping site. It got to about 40 degrees (and colder) in the evening and I was dry, warm and comfortable. I was sleeping on top of an air mattress. It was a little long, but I am 5'2" so there's not much that can be done about that. I love how the bag zipped right up to below my chin.

Not so warm
MontBell America, Inc. U.L. Super Stretch Hugger #4 Sleeping Bag: 38 Degree Down

I first used this bag on a 40 degree night with no wind or rain and I was cold. I had long underwear on. I did not have a sleeping pad.

very uncomfortable
GCI Outdoor Trail-Sling Ultralight

No matter how I adjusted the sling, The center pole kept poking through the fabric, so that I could not find a comfortable position. Next time, I will just buy a regular-sized camp chair.

The bag is incredibly lightweight and stretchy, but insubstantial. I was cold all night.
