Perfection

The North Face Flash Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 March 9, 2008

I never realized what life was like without the Flash. My layers always seemed bulky. And never warm enough. Life was marginal. Then the amazing day. A package shows up on my porch. A fluffy cloud ready to keep me warm. The Flash had toastiness without the usual Fat Albert Bulk. The fit is true.

Miner Threat

Matix Miner Denim Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 6, 2008

These jeans are the shit. I bought the black stretch denim. The Miners have a great slimmer cut and a low rise. If you're in need of some quality denim, scope out the Miner.

Great fit, but itchy

Volcom Lodger Flannel Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 February 3, 2008

The volcom lodger shirt fits amazing. It's not slim fit, and it's not too baggy. The black colorway has some interesting purples in it. The only problem with the shirt: it's itchy. The acrylic fabric itches like a wool shirt. The shirt is really warm though.

Nixon Rover Stainless Steel Watch

Rating for this product: 5 January 13, 2008

This watch is great. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the Super Rover, but it's black. 'Nuf said. It's tough as a tank and the backlight is pretty nifty. I've heard some people complain about the Titanium Nitride coating wearing off-- no complaints yet.

SIck Shades

Oakley Radar Path Sunglasses

Rating for this product: 5 June 19, 2007

I heart my Oakley Paths. They cover my face superbly and they have a perfect blend of the tech Oakley look and a good fashion blend. The earpieces grip my head with enough pressure to stay on through vigorous activities, yet they don't give me a headache when I wear them for extended periods. The optics are flawless. Anything less than Oakley is uncivilized.

Great Pack

OGIO Godfather Skate Backpack - 1950cu in

Rating for this product: 5 June 19, 2007

I bought the Koston pack after I came to the realization that the blown zippers on my old, haggard pack weren't going to heal themselves. The Koston has everything I need. The laptop fits my 15in Mac perfectly, and the little fuzzy pouch tends my iPod like some sort of a marsupial. The straps are super comfy and the front divider pockets keep my OCD tendencies in check. The pinstripes are dope too. Buy this thing.

Nice pack for Travel

OGIO Metro Backpack - 2200cu in

Rating for this product: 5 June 19, 2007

I just took this pack on a road trip to L.A. it gave me enough space for my 15in MacBook Pro, my iPod, and all my accessories and cords that go along with it. The straps are wide and comfortable and the large main pocket gave me enough space to carry books, goodies and all the other road-trip essentials as well. The zippers look like they'll hold up to lots of abuse. I'd recommend this pack to anybody.

Great Ducky

Tributary Strike 2 Tandem Inflatable Kayak

Rating for this product: 5 June 11, 2007

We purchased this boat for quick runs on our local rivers. This weekend we ran the Moab daily. This boat easily handles large pour-overs and large, rolling waves with ease. The self-bailing design and the clip-in seats make for a comfy worry free ride. The material's super burly. This boat could handle class III water with ease.

Great Paddles

Werner Tybee 2 Piece Paddle - Straight Shaft Glass

Rating for this product: 5 June 11, 2007

These paddles did great on their inaugural run down the Moab daily. The super light swing weight makes for a super high cadence paddle stroke and the two piece design breaks down for easy transport in the back of a trunk or a wagon cargo area. Solid design and great performance

Burly, bombproof pump

Aire 4 inch Barrel Pump

Rating for this product: 5 June 11, 2007

WE bought this pump for our Strike 2 inflatable. Not only is this pump made from burly, sturdy plastic, it pumped up our 12foot 5inch inflatable kayak in about seven minutes. Your gearheads told us this pump was unstoppable and well worth the money. He was right. Don't mess around on the shore pumping your boat up all day, get out and paddle. This pump is worth every cent.

holdin' bars

Yakima 48 inch RoundBar 1 pair

Rating for this product: 4 May 27, 2007

These bars work very well. I tried to use my factory rack to haul my freeride bike around, but the racks were too flimsy. these 48 inch bars fit my Subaru perfectly and they provide a great platform to carry my freeride sled.

Holy Crap. These things rock.

Oakley Flak Jacket XLJ Sunglasses

Rating for this product: 5 May 3, 2007

Wow. I always wondered what all Oakley techno-jargon meant-- to boil it down these glasses kick ass. These Flak Jacks are so light and they fit my head perfectly. The XLJ lens gives me the extra coverage I need when I'm riding my bike. That hydrophobic coating on the lens makes water and other gunk bead up and fly away. I'm throwing my Smith Sliders in the effing garbage can.

Solid Hiker

KEEN Wasatch Crest Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 March 22, 2007

I could not be more pleased with this shoe. I recently hiked on some slushy, snow packed trails, and my feet stayed completely dry when everyone else's feet in my hiking party were soaked. This shoes fit true to size on me. I'm really stoked on these.

Damn good socks

SmartWool Adrenaline Light Micro Sock

Super Versatile lens

Oakley Crowbar Goggle Replacement Lenses

Rating for this product: 5 March 11, 2007

This lens is killer. I rode the other day (bluebird) and the Blue Iridium lens was really great. Not only was the lens dark enough for the conditions, it was versatile enough to give me definition in the shady spots. Crowbars are my favorite goggle ever.

These pants are the Shiznit

Volcom Vitra Snowboard Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 March 5, 2007

I'm 5'10' 34" waist and bought the Vitra in an XL for that "thugged-out" look. The bagginess is great to ride in. OH the red color is dope too. I love the hiddend pass pocket in the thigh cargo flip-up compartment. I stayed warm and dry all day. These pants have super wide leg-openings even without opening the zippers at the bottom.

Blue Iridium is Versatile

Oakley Crowbar Goggle Replacement Lenses

Rating for this product: 5 February 20, 2007

My blue iridium lens is great when the light goes from grey bird to about as bright as it gets. It's a pretty good all around lens for anything. Get the yellow iridium for night or super-stormy, socked-in conditions. This is yet another solid lens and goggle from Oakley.

Optical Superiority Complex

Oakley Crowbar Goggles - High Intensity Lens

Rating for this product: 5 February 20, 2007

I just rode in my new Crowbars w/ the yellow iridium lens the other day. First off, these goggles look dope (mine came with the retro Oakley logo on the strap). But this lens was perfect for Big Cottonwood Canyon Grey bird. The grippy rubber coating on the goggle strap kept the crowbars in place on my head. I came to the crowbar from a Smith Prodigy, and this goggle fits my face a little better -- it's a little smaller than a prodigy. The peripheral vision in these is sick too.

Minimalist Stylee

Bern Baker Helmet w/Knit Liner

Rating for this product: 5 November 15, 2006

When I checked out the Bern helmet I was instantly stoked on the fit and comfort of the thing. It's got a super clean style and the liner feels like a crocheted beanie. The matte color will be a perfect canvas for a great sticker job. Oh, and the visor is rad. The helmet fit great with my goggles too. Buy this helmet and stay safe.

MUTHA FLOATING SHIP

Line Mothership Flite Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 5 August 24, 2006

Well there's really not much more to say than straight-line madness. This ski loves to go fast. I thought it'd be too wide, but it's not. I used this ski everyday last season. The ski excels in the deep, but it rips everywhere except in the bumps. Once you go Mothership you won't go back. The bases hold up very well too. Buy, steal, or barter to get this ski. Great pop and super fun on the groomers too. Line Rules it. And you'll rule it too on these boards.
