Smith V Ti Interchangeable Sunglasses - Polarized

Is the rubber temple piece removable, and when removed does it yield a (potentially) comfortable metal temple? I hate when the rubber temples pull my hair forward when I take glasses off while cycling. Full metal temples should prevent that. Would this work?
As good as REI Slickrock? I hope!
Columbia Tetherow Butte Pant - Men's
June 9, 2008
REI has stopped making the Slickrock pant, and so I picked up a pair of these Columbia pants to see how they will work. So far, they're great. They feel bombproof. I commute by bicycle to work (and lots of places) and I think these pants will stand up to the abuses of that (I wore a hole in the crotch of blue jeans that way). They're thicker, and I roll my pant legs up for riding, but they roll ok. The "security pocket" is a neat idea, although it's sort of advertised by having the tied pull on the zipper (removing that would of course render the security pocket secure). Unfortunately all the pictures of these pants show only the left side... The right side is the business side. There is also a pocket that perfectly holds a cell-phone about midway down the thigh. I won't buy pants without that pocket. These are soooo soft; great pants. Today (Monday) I am giving them their initial test run for use as my standard Favorite Pants Wednesday pants.
