Great jacket

Arc'teryx Gamma MX Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 September 4, 2008

I've only had this for a few months, but awesome. I am 5'11" and 175 lbs and went with a large. The arms are too long and I probably could have got a medium, but it still fits well under my shell. However, the long arms will be a plus when skiing/snowshoeing. Very thin, but very warm. Haven't used the water proofness, but doubt it will be an issue. Looks awesome and works great!!

Silver Lake in June

MontBell America, Inc. U.L. Alpine Down Hugger #1 Sleeping Bag: 15 Degree Down

Rating for this product: 4 June 27, 2008

There is no doubt about it, this bag is warm. I spent the night in an area surrounded by snow, but the night was pretty warm, I'm guessing high 40's. Combined with my Exped down mat I was too hot and slept with the bag unzipped all night. I love the stretchy seams which allow an amazing amount of movement. The one downside is I had to shell out the extra money for the Long version. I tried regular at the store and it was way to short. I am 5'11" and 170 pounds. When they say it is up to 5'10" they mean it. I think someone 5'8" would be ok, maybe. But then I like a little room. Great bag, light and warm.
