Big Agnes Dual Core Sleeping Pad - Mummy
September 15, 2006
10 days in the Sierra, almost all above 10K. Switched from years of Thermarest. About the same weight, 2.5" of loft, no hips digging into the granite. No leaks. Thermarest good, but this was better for me!

Marmot Pounder Plus Sleeping Bag: 25 Degree PrimaLoft
September 4, 2006
Just back from 10-day trip in Sierra with new Marmot Pounder-Plus. Frost most nights, low perhaps 25. Very comfortable. Light weight, compact when in stuff bag. Wish I'd stopped to think & gotten the right-hand zip [important-consider which way is best for you!], but that's my fault, not the bag's!
