All around piece that everyone should have
The North Face Apex Zip Shirt Jacket - Men's
March 1, 2007
I love this shirt and regret not buying it sooner. Another The North Face piece that I will wear all year around, thin enough to wear as a shirt, and a great layering piece. I bought this for cycling and it should hold up for what I want it to do, breaths, comfortable cuffs, fit and feel is great, look is good, very stretchy, and very adjustable with the half zip and waist draw cord. As for sizing the fit is very similar to other large TNF products (apex bionic jacket and tka 100 fleece zip). Same as other TNF softshell products, this shirt sheds water very well and feels very durable.

Great jacket
The North Face Seven Summits Aconcagua Down Jacket - Girls'
December 1, 2006
Great jacket for the price, my sister fit the childrens so why buy adult size? but compared to my adult version the shell feels stiffer/thicker and not as compressible, probably because kids would be rough on the coat. Same quality to be expected from a North Face product. The only thing that would make this purchase better is some bonus for points for repeat customers.

Great smaller pack
The North Face Hammerhead Hydration Pack
September 28, 2006
I got this to take along on my longer summer rides and right now I'm loving it as my commuter bag. The hydration feature of the bag works, it holds water. But I got this pack mainly because it is larger than the other hydration packs out there, storage wise. I wanted it to be more useful than a water bladder plus it holds all my junk that I take to work and it is built like a much larger North Face pack. Straps are not mesh like other smaller hydration packs, this one is built to take a beating. Sternum and waist straps are included with a built in whistle. Elastic straps are perfect for holding a rain coat or a pair of sandals, mesh pouch in front to hold a snack and smaller pocket to hold your phone, pens, junk. Mesh side pockets perfet for more water bottles or whatever. Just imagine that this is a smaller hiking pack with all the features. Overkill yes but I love it

Lightweight jacket that does the job
The North Face Sentinel WindStopper Jacket - Men's
September 24, 2006
This jacket is amazing, it states it’s windproof and I took it for a test ride on my scooter and sure enough no wind penetrated the jacket. The only spot I felt a chill was down the zipper, it does have an inner flap backing the zipper but if they has one on the outside this jacket would be totally windproof. The warmth that it provided me on my ride was amazing, as long as you have it zipped up this jacket could be used well down into the 20 degree mark. The fabric has a nice sheen to it and the fit is perfect, my only gripe is that the cuff is kinda cheesy with its thin elastic vs a cuff with a adjustable hook-and-loop strap. Looks like a inside liner jacket cuff. Bottom line, if you like thin warm coats this is the one for you.

Can't beat WRX Blue
The North Face Seven Summits Apex Bionic Jacket - Men's
September 18, 2006
I love the blue that this jacket came in, matches my WRX. The shoftshell fabric feels great and the fleece inside lining provides plenty of warmth at 50 degrees. I'd say this jacket would serve its purpose for me down to 20 degrees. The quality is great, the fit is the same as other large North Face fleece jackets I have. Plenty warm if you are active outside I wish it had better venting but unzipping it works just fine. Another fine North Face product to add to my collection that keeps growing.

Great jacket for the price
The North Face Apex Bionic Jacket - Women's
September 18, 2006
I have had this jacket since late summer but only now I have been able to take it for a test drive. Temps have finally hit below 50 degrees and the Apex Bionic has made me happy camper. A little sprinkle this morning did not even phase this jacket, it beaded up and rolled off but I would say the this softshell would not take anything more than a sprinkle. After some shopping and driving around town this jacket actually got too warm. I would say this jacket would provide me with enough protection and warmth from 40 degrees down to 20 degrees easily anything above a windbreaker will do the job for me. The quality and fit and finish of this jacket is top rate, pockets a plenty, and I love the feel of the softshell. The thing about softshells is the fabric does not pill so it looks new all the time. Another North Face product to add to my collection and I have a feeling this might be usefull all winter when its not blistering cold.
