SmartWool Hiking Light Crew Socks

Rating for this product: 5 July 25, 2006

What can you say about a sock that does its job in wet boots? You don't notice your feet when portaging in the BWCA until they are cold and blisted and you are having pain while walking. Non of that happened with these socks - so the best compliment I can give them is that my feet never knew they were on. Without them, as we like to say in the South, "my dawgs would have been barking."

The one's to have

The North Face Paramount Convertible Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 July 25, 2006

Just returned from a 5 day canoe trip in the BWCA. Bought two of these pants and they became the only thing I wore Zipper on bottom of legs allows easy slip off when converting to shorts. Long pants keep you warm on cool mornings yet do not feel like they heat up as the afternoon warms us, so you can keep on the long pants to knock the sun off sunburned knees. When I went up to my thigh in water, these pants dried out fast. From soaking to dry, less than 20 min in 70 degree weather. The material is impressive and quality excellent.

You will not be dissapointed, because they put out the best and things do not change with this jacket. Warm and light, the perfect jacket for layering or wearing alone depending on the weather.
