good investment...

Kelty Yellowstone 2 Footprint

Rating for this product: 5 August 26, 2006

I have only used my tent for a few weeks in the last 2 months...but from what I read, the footprint adds years of life and service to your tent. I saw it as a good investment for my tent, something I want to last.

The North Face Meridian Convertible Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 August 26, 2006

I got these pants not knowing if I would like them or not. I am so glad I got them...they kept me cooler as I could zip off the legs....and when I got rained on...they dried very very fast, much like a swim suit. They also provided more than enough protection when I decided to slide down a granite face....no rips...no tears. Great pants north face...and great service from this site.

Columbia Titanium Diablo Pass Hiking Boots - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 August 24, 2006

These are great...waterproof, tough hiking boots. The week I got them I wore them around the house to break them in...and after only 4 days of having them, I went on a 4- day trek/camping trip in the mountains. They were great. Excellent traction, waterproof, great ankle support...and the lace spinners are great for easy on/off. gGreat boots, great price!

Crazy Creek Original Chair w/Mesh

Rating for this product: 5 July 18, 2006

When I got this chair i figured it would be more for at home and around events than for hikes and camping trips, but I was wrong. This chair is exellent for packing in with you and is very very comfortable. its light, folds nicely, straps to your pack easily, and works as well around the fire or in the tent. Great chair!!!

Lafuma Hunza 60 Backpack - 3800cu in

Rating for this product: 5 July 18, 2006

This pack was bought for a 3-day 2-night hiking/camping trip I had planned up in Rocky mountain National Park. All my gear fit nicely, everything had its place and wasn't bunched at all and there was still plenty of room for my camelback 3 liter bladder to fit in fully filled. It compacts down almost 30% smaller than full size for shorter trips. Great pack, great price.

great bag...

Lafuma Extreme 1000 Sleeping Bag: 30 Degree

Rating for this product: 5 June 30, 2006

This sleeping bag was plenty warm on my 14,000ft hike/camping trip to Rocky Mountain National Park. One thing though, I am 6'3'' and so I bought the large thinking I would need the added length. They cut the bags to fit up to and beyond, so unless you are almost 7' tall, the regular is all you will need. You’ll have a little more room in your pack for other gear.

great tent, great price

Kelty Yellowstone 2 Tent 2-Person 3-Season

Rating for this product: 5 June 23, 2006

This is a great tent and it’s cheap! This tent could be at home next to the lake or where I took it, up to 12,000ft. The only thing I could think to ask for would be the tent stakes need to be aluminum or titanium. Overall, this is a great tent for a great price.

Kelty Yellowstone 2 Tent 2-Person 3-Season

Rating for this product: 5 May 31, 2006

This is a great tent. It’s roomy, good construction, great price, light, quick to set up/take down. I like to hang out above 14,000ft. And this will be the tent I take from now on. Thank you for a great sales/service.

great lake, ok hiker...

Kelty Yellowstone 2 Tent 2-Person 3-Season

Rating for this product: 4 May 26, 2006

Kelty has a great lakeside camping tent. It’s affordable and easy to set up. It’s not the best for backpacking though. This tent needs to have the aluminum poles like backpacking tents. I chose this tent over the Teton 2 due to price and design. The Yellowstone 2 has way more ventilation. After sleeping both tents, this is the one for me. I will be looking for replacement poles, and ditching the fiberglass ones it comes with.
