Great Freeride Boot
Crispi Diablo Free Ride AT Ski Boot
January 23, 2008
I bought these boots to drive the new BD Zealot ski (110mm underfoot). They are great in the walk mode and very comfortable on the uphill. They perform nearly as well as an alpine boot on the downhill, even pushing a ski as big as the Zealot. I have a narrow heel and a wide forefoot, and this boot fit great. I used to ski the Scarpa Denali, and although that is also a great boot, I've got to say that the Diablo is the better of the two.

WOW!
Black Diamond Zealot Alpine Ski
January 23, 2008
LOVE THESE SKIS!!!!! Can't say enough good things about them. They float through pow like a dream. The downside is that they are heavy. But, you don't buy a stiff 110 underfoot ski for lightweight performance, right? Make sure you buy a nice pair of stiff freeride boots for these monsters - Crispi Diablo or Scarpa Denali. By the way, I'm 5'11", and about 200lbs, so the weight of the skis was less of an issue for me. If you're a little bigger skier, you'll love these. I use these for short-trip, deep powder backcountry skiing a la LCC and BCC in Utah.

Great Powder Ski
Fischer Porohete 106 Alpine Ski
March 5, 2007
These are a great pair of deep powder skis to add to your collection. The wood core makes them heavy, but they are still surprisingly nimble in the deep stuff. They are pretty difficult to ski on groomers and hard pack, so I wouldn't buy these as an only pair of skis. If you're looking for a great pair of powder-only boards, then this is the ticket. They really move and float in the deep, and they are fun as hell to ski. Wouldn't put a backcountry rig on these due to the weight of the ski.
